Last Thursday I flew to Sweden to visit my wonderful sister Hanna, who goes to Bible school there. It was such a blessed time and it was really cool because I got to go to the Youth 2010 conference as well at Livets Ord in Uppsala. I am very thankful for the days I got to spend there. I got to meet both old friends from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Estonia plus that I got many new friends as well!!! :-D The preaching and worship was really great and I got alot during the conference. I aslo attended two leaders´ seminar there, and that was really awesome teaching there by Pastor Ulf Ekman and Pastor How. :-)

Now after the conference I feel refreshed and I can continue with all the studies and church work here! :-D God is so good and faithful! :-D

Last Saturday I finally found my car! I have been looking for a car for some time now, but one that felt like mine, and that was in the right price range hadn´t come along before that. But now, Praise the Lord, I have my car!!! :-D I am so thankful for God´s goodness and provision!!! :-D May this car work well and be a blessing to many! :-) Here are some pictures but I can say that it is a Ford Mondeo, 1.8l/85kW. :-D

Amazing worship!!!

Looking back over this last weekend, I am so thankful to God and proud over our team that made this conference happen. The conference turned out to be really amazing and God really showed up and touched the youths, and stirred them up to reach out to the schools and their society. I really pray that what has been planted in the hearts of people this conference, would begin to take shape and grow into the fullness of what God has in store for them!
The worship was just so amazing, especially on Saturday evening, something really took place in the spiritual sphere, and Heaven was open... Praise God!!! :-D

As for me, I spent alot of time in the cafeteria working alongside my team, and I must say that I was so happy and thankful to see how everyone was so eager to serve and they served with a joyful heart! :-D To see all the volunteers for the conference doing such a fantastic job was just amazing... I am so thankful to God! It is so great to serve the King of the Universe, whom I am also priviledged to call my Heavenly Father! Live with Jesus is wonderful and so satisfying! :-D

Jesus Conference 2010

In less than 2 weeks we will have our Jesus Conference 2010! :-) I believe it will be an amazing conference, so for all of you that have the posibility to come, COME!!! :-D The theme for the confernce is "From Estonia to the ends of the Earth". It is a conference that will focus alot on mission. The whole world is a missionfield, but it starts with our neighbours. There will be seminars, including a New Generation seminar where Brad Hawks from England will speak about reaching out on the schools. So for all you who are young at heart, come and stir up that passion to reach out! :-) It is the very heart beat of God... Jesus came to save that which was lost... (Luke 19:10)

Here comes a few more pictures from the summer :-) I had the priviledge of having my dear friend Liina for a visit in Finland for one week. It was such a great time! :-) Also I had some great time meeting and catching up with my dear bibleschool friend and dear sister Debbie-Ann Bax, who was visiting Finland with her husband for a month. They did a tour and ministring here around in Finland. So that was so amazing and great to catch up with them! :-) I also got to hear Reinhard Bonnke preaching in Seinäjoki, which was really cool :-) And also had an amazing time at the Teittinen´s family in Vasa, and with my friends and housemates. :-) Also some time with family and a class- reunion. And all of this was in the timespan of the last 4 weeks of my summer break! Not to mention that I worked 5 times a week as well, which wasn´t that bad either! :-D

So, I had a little time off between the last exam and before beginning to work... It was really great to just have time to actually LIVE! :-) Some of this time I got to spend in Norway cathching up with some of my amazing friends! :-) I am blessed to know so many wonderful people on this planet! And at least some of them happens to come from Norway!
I love how everything can just fall into place (when God is arranging for us and setting us up for great things) :-) It was how it was with this trip as well... Everything just fell into place... really great cheep tickets, time off, workshifts changed, sunny days instead of rainy ones, and even a Women´s Conference in Oslo with Lisa Bevere!!! :-D God is cool! :-)
So, in all it was some wonderful days! I wont write more, cause pictures speaks more than a 1000 words... So I let my words be few...

I finally have my summer holiday! :-) School is over for this year! I passed my internal medicine exam with a C, which I am satisfied with, considering how big it was... I got 105/122 points. I was only 3 points from getting a B, so that was a bit annoying, but I got over it! :-) The main point is that it is passed, fourth year is over and I have some time off before I begin to work!!! :-)

So yesterday I got back to Finland and I enjoyed a nice evening in Helsinki with my family... Helsinki is such a beautiful summer city! I love it! You can take a look at the pictures if you don´t believe me... :-) This weekend I will fly to Norway to catch up with my dear dear friends! It is gonna be amazing! I am so excited!!! :-D We will also make it to one of the meetings at a Women´s Conference with Lisa Bevere, so that is awesome timing!!! :-) Praise God! He always has so much wonderful things in store for us! :-) I am so thankful that God is so faithful! Where would we be without Him...?!

I hope there will be more regular updates this summer... :-) We can at least hope! :-) And also I am hoping for a warm and nice summer! It has been such a lovely warm and sunny weather in Tartu these last 2 weeks, but now it´s a bit colder again, so I am really ordering some nice weather for the rest of the summer as well! :-) Now, I wont write much more... I will let you enjoy some pictures instead... More updates after the Norway trip! :-) Stay blessed my friends!!! :-)

So, what can I say... Time flyes! That is a fact... No excuses, I just haven´t taken the time to post anything on here for a while again... And I wont make any promises as to how often it will happen in the future... :-) BUT NOW I will at least post some pictures of our extraordinary class! :-) SO here are the pictures as 4th year medical students! :-) Enjoy! And now I have to get back to the studies... That´s the reality of life right now, but I am also enjoying the sun and the BEAUTIFUL weather meanwhile! :-)

Well, it has been a while... Like way too long since last update and no use to try to make a summary of the time past right here and now... that would take too long... :-) So I´ll just take it up from here and continue... :-)

Yesterday we had our Youth Christmas Party. It was a nice evening and a good end of this semester and year... :-) So much has happened. :-) Here are some pictures from last night... We had some very good chefs.. :-) So thanks everyone for making it happen and beeing a wonderful evening :-)

Now I have a little more time to study for my Surgery Exam and the it is Christmas Break! Yey!! :-) Ok, back to studies... :-)

Ok, it has been WAY TOO LONG since I last updated my blog... ojojoj... Crazy how time flyes! Well, lots has happened these last 8 months... but there is no way I can give a fair view back on all that has taken place... maybe I can try to make a short summary some time... but now I can at least share a bit of the amazing Trip we did to Israel! There were 5 of us that went, Andrus, Helen, Meelike, Sigurd and I. In other words 3 estonians, 1 norwegian, and 1 finn... :-) Two of our dear friends, Tom and Julia, are living in Jerusalem where they are going in Bibleschool. So Andrus, Helen and Meelike stayed at their place. Also there is an amazing norwegian woman, Sigrid, who is living there as well, so us scandinavians stayed at her palce... :-) It was just such a great priviledge to be there and spend some time with them all. We surely felt so blessed!

We were there for about 8 days, 10 in all with travelling. In that time we got so see alot of things actually, even though tosee everything you could stay there forever! ;-) It was truly amazing to see the palces that one has only read about in the Bible before. But to actually have been there was so special. It so opens up the Bible in a whole new way. You can see and understand a bit more where Jesus walked and where all those stories took place. :-)

We spent about 3-4 days in Jerusalem. We saw alot there, walking around in the old town, some stops of the via dolorosa, the garden tomb, Gethsemane, we lived on mount of Olives, the market, visited Yad Vashem, the Holocaust museum, etc. Then we drove down to Eilat, swam both in the Dead and the Red Sea. We went to Qumran, where they found the Dead Sea Scrolls, to Masada - one of king Herod´s palaces, and to the under water Aquarium in Eilat and so forth. Then we drove up to Galilee, drove by the Jordan river and drove around the lake of Galilee and stayed in Tiberias over night at a really nice hotel with view over the lake of Galilee... :-) So amazing... Then we drove up to the Golan hights and up to this village in the mountains... really cool!!! And then we visited Nazaerth where we went to the palces where the angel spoke to Mary and where Jesus grew up. We also had the priviledge to visit both a Church service in Hebrew, in Jerusalem, and Sigrid, Sigurd and I went to Bethlehem and there we attended an arabic Church service! So cool!!! :-) In Bethlehem we also visited one monastry in the desert, the Herodium - another one on king Herod´s palaces, the Shepard´s field- where the angels appeared to the shepards, and The Nativity Church where Jesus as born.

I dont know about you, but I want to live my life for Jesus in all that that includes! Some glimps back in time- Part 4 - Cell group

Now, cell group has been one of the things that I have really cherished this last year! It is such a privilige to be a leader to these girls, together with Vivia! :-) It has been a really good year. It has been a year of growth, I feel, and I am really looking forward to the next season too!!! Because the best is yet to come!!! :-D

Some glimps back in time...Part 3 - YOUTH

Here are a few glimps from some youth meetings... This year has been a good year, but as always we are reaching forward to take a hold of that which Jesus has taken a hold of us for! The best is yet to come, and we focus our eyes on what´s ahead, but it is so good to look back and see the faithfulness of God! Even when it seams that not much is happening in the natural, God is working behind the scenes and preparing for what is to come! :-D It is so exciting to serve God! And let me here say that I am soooo thankful to God for all the youth and the youth leaders! It is a privilege to do life with you guys! No one is strong alone, but there is no limit to what a group of people, who are committed to God and passionate for Jesus, can do! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! In our own strength we are nothing... But thank God for the New life through Christ!!! :-) So here are a few glimps from youth...

As I went back to Estonia after the visit to Finland, I went straight to Piibli päevad = Bible Days. It was held in Viimsi close to Tallinn... It was a beautiful place by the coast line... Our worship team from Elu Sõna mostly, had some of the worship there, so I was also there singing... It was good times, even though I actually missed much of the weekend as I came later in the end... But still, good!

Both my sister and my dad had a birthday back in April and I went to Finland to celebrate them...:-) My sister had a b-day party in Helsinki on her b-day and there I met many people I had not seen in a loong time... So it was really nice...

I still had some time in Norway to relax before I flew back to Estonia. On Sunday when we came back from Barcelona we had an amazing Sunday lunch at Jostein´s parents´house.

Anette had to work on Monday and Tuesday, so I was at the house during that time watching God Tv all morning, going for walk/jog, studying and just enjoying the time off...:-) On Monday evening we enjoyed as a movie night...:-)

Tuesday I got to meet up with Lise, which was amazing! I got to see where she lives and we walked around in Fredrikstad and visited the shoeshop where Anette works. There I also got to see Tabita, which I havent seen in a looong time! So that was soo cool to see her again! Then Lise took me out for lunch before she drove me to the trainstation. I then had some time in Oslo, where I met up with Sigurd, who just had come back from a weekend in Estonia.:-) It was so good to see him again as well, as it has been almost a year since last time! After a few hours in Oslo I jumped on the train again to the airport and headed back to Estonia...:-) What a nice vacation!!!:-) Now I have energy again to continue studying on and finishing this second year well...:-)

Barcelona!!!

Last week 2nd-6th of April, the same gang that were in Italy last summer, Anette, Jostein, Øystein and I, traveled to BARCELONA!!! I flew to Norway late Tuesday evening and then I stayed two days in Norway after the Barcelona trip. It was such a wonderful vacation!:-) As you can see, my blog hasn´t been updated for a long time...That is because there has been some crazyly busy time lately with school and everything, so it was really amazing to have a week off...
Barcelona is such a beautiful city!! I was really amazed just walking around! It was so cozy and amazing buildings, streets, parks... I really recommend a visit there!!! I could go back more than once!!:-)

Mom´s 50th birthday

It is already a while ago, but the 5th of March my dear mom, Nina turned 50 years... It was a great celebration which was dedicated as a thanksgiving to God - the author and giver of life.. A concert was held and all gifts went to the orphanages in Bolivia and in Ethiopia. It was an amazing celebration and I think many people were touched as we were reminded of God´s goodness and faithfulness over the years! We serve an amazing God and every day is a gift from Him! And I am so thankful for my amazing mother! I love you mom!!! So one more time...CONGRATULATIONS!!! :-) Here comes some pictures from the big day of mom and the family!!:-)

God of the Second Chance...

Today as I was reading the book of Jona from the Bible, I was caught by the thought of how God is the God of the second chance. In the beginning of the book God spoke to Jona to go to Nineve, because He had a task for him to do there. However, Jona responded to the call from God by running away from Him... He took the boat to a completely different place. “How crazy is that”, we might think... but then we look at ourselves and we see that maybe we are in the same situation. There might be things that God has spoken to us about, and we have tried to ignore that still small voice we have heard... “No, that can´t be God...”, we might think.
We see that by running away from God´s plan or calling, Jona ended up in a storm and eventually found himself inside the belly of a big fish. Have there been times when you have found yourself in the storm and you see the huge waves of life around you? Have you ever felt so isolated in a dark place where you think, “This must be the end of the world”. It might not be so drastic as to say that we find ourselves in a stomach of a fish. However, every time we are trying to run away from things that God is calling us to do, or even from God himself, we always end up in some stormy weather... There is no place where we can run and hide. God sees us, He knows us better than we know ourselves, and He knows our pain, flaws, and our problems. Maybe you are trying to run away from a problem, a bad relationship, an intimate relationship with God... whatever it might be, it is not the best way. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Only when we walk on that road, living in the truth, then we can live life and life to the fullest...

Maybe you say, “You don´t understand...I have messed up so badly! I cannot go back”. Listen, I have good news for you! There is no circumstance, no sin, no darkness that is too dark or too difficult for God. Maybe you realize that you cannot do life alone, then the direction to run is towards God, not from Him! He is standing there with open arms, ready to love and embrace you. When you ask Him for forgiveness, He will forgive you and all the past is wiped away! That is our loving and graceful Father God! Maybe you have been hurt, maybe you feel that there are people in your life that you cannot forgive, or you feel that your life is so broken and you are full of pain... That is what God is there for!!! He wants to meet you exactly where you are and turn your situation around! We have nothing else than God to cling to! He is the only hope in this world! He is the God of the second chance! He wants to save you, love you, forgive you, help you forgive, heal you, restore you, restore broken relationships, restore broken families, etc.... He wants to flood your life with blessings!

When we continue to read the book of Jona, we see that he asked God for forgiveness and surrendered. He did what God told him to do and he was given a second chance. God spoke to him again and this time he chose to obey and follow the road God had for him. And not only did that affect his life, but it saved the whole city of Nineve, with 120 000 people, from destruction! That is what God wants to do in your life. When you walk the road that God has for you, not only will you see your life restored and healed and saved, but you will also see people around you turn around and follow Christ! So I want to encourage you- God is for you, not against you! There is nothing that can separate you from His love, if you only turn to Him and choose to follow Jesus and the exciting life He has in store for you! He loves you with an everlasting love and He gave His life so that you could be saved and live a life in freedom - all the way into eternity! Don´t let go of Jesus! He is the only hope we have! He is the way, the truth and the life! God bless you! Jenny :-)

This weekend has been really amazing! It has been so great being back here with friends and church!!! Friday was youth evening and it was really good and an amazing evening! And the really cool thing was that we had our new lighting system for youth!!! yeeeeeeee!!!!!!! It was really good and cool, cause the lighting hasn´t been the best, so now it was really great to have that new piece of technology there!!! Praise God!! You can see yourselves how cool it became!!! Adds some colour in our lives!!! Yeah, that´s what I´m talking about!!! Andrus and Triin had worship, I got to share some things, Julia shared some things and Tom was preaching. It was a really nice evening!! :-)

Saturday was Helina´s birthday!!! Yeee!!! Happy Birthday one more time sweetie!!! We celebrated her at my place. It was a nice, fun and relaxing b-day party. We ended the evening by watching a movie... A nice time...:-) ...as you can see from the pics!:-) Helina then stayed at my place over night and then we went together to Church on Sunday. It was an AMAZING Sunday meeting!!! I was just sooo grateful and happy to be back here at Church!!! praise God for an amazing church with amazing pastors and leaders!!! :-) I was so blessed by the service! Pastor Eino was preaching and it was such a great message about taking our possition in Christ and walking in our calling!!! God spoke straight into my life in a few things!!! We just have to be more bold and step out in faith when God puts something in our heart, and not just wait for it to happen... cause then we´ll be waiting a looong time...:-) When God says go we go... :-) It is just so amazing to go deeper and deeper in our walk with Jesus! And I am so excited for the things he has in store for us this new year and beyond!!! Life with Jesus is so exciting!!! I mean, if you think your life is boring, then try Jesus!!! :-) I so wanna go up to a whole new level... Let´s not settle for anything but the very best God has for us, ok? We have to wake up and understand and get a deeper revalation of who we really are in Christ!!! It´s time for the Church to arise and take it´s possition and really be the Chruch of the ressurected Christ!!! Hallelujah!!! :-) :-) :-) The joy of the Lord is our strength!!! :-) Praise God!!!

Praise God! This weekend has been just amazing and wonderful!! I feel soooo blessed!!! It is wonderful being back here in Tartu! The vacation was great, but it is sooo good to get started with the spring term with everything that holds! I am just soooo in love with Jesus and I am just soooo thankful for all the amazing things that He has done and is doing and all that He will do in my life!!! I really encourage you, that if you feel down or just not full of thankfulness to God, to start praising Him!!! Start worshipping God in the midst of the storm...Start thanking God for all the good things in your life! You will be amazed at how long the list gets!!! He is just soooo good!!! And our Heavenly Father only has good things in store for us!!! Praise God!!! :-)

I am thankful that I can be a child of God, that Jesus has paid the price for me, that I can know Him, that He is everything I need, that all my sources are in Him!!! I am thankful for my family, for my wonderful friends, for my relatives, for my amazing church and leaders and sisters and brothers in Christ! I am thankful that I have been able to live abroad in the countries I´ve lived, I am thankful that I was able to go to Hillsong College. I am thankful that I can study medicine, that I have a beautiful appartment, that I have food on the table, that I have a bed to sleep in, that I am able to pay my bills, that I am healthy, that I have a hope and a brigth future, that the best is yet to come, that I can serve my wonderful Lord and Saviour, that I can have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, that I can worship God, that I can pray, that I can have peace in the midst of the storm, that His grace is sufficient for me and that His strength is made perfect in my weekness, that I can sing and play and laugh, talk, run, dance, jump, feel emotions, breath, live... I am thankful that I can rejoyce and fix my eyes on Jesus, I am thankful that I am never alone, cause he has promised to never leave me nor forsake me, I am thankful that I am the princess of the most high King, that I am the apple of His eye, that I can be free to love, free to dance, free to sing... I am thankful that He has changed my life and continues to change me from glory to glory, I am thankful that God wants to use little me, I am thankful that I have a calling upon my life, I am thankful to be blessed to be a blessing, I am thankful to live in a free country where there is peace and the freedom of speach, I am thankful that I dont have to fear for my life or fear for the lives of the ones I love, I am thankful that there is a greater purpose to life that just to excist and then die, I am thankful for the Word of God, I am thankful for all the people that have spoken into my life and encouraged me along the way, I am thankful for all the wonderful teaching I have received, I am thankful that God has and keeps on protecting me, I am thankful that I can be me, and that God loves me and accepts me for who I am, I am thankful for all my friends that love me, I am thankful for all the people I get to bless, I am thankful that I have a reason for living, I am thankful that God has so many wonderful promises and exciting things in store for me, I am thankful that I have an amazing Father in Heaven that will supply all my needs and who loves me and who gives me so many things to be thankful for that I cannot even name them all... PRAISE GOD!!! :-D

A bit more vacation updates...

So now my vacation has almost come to an end... I am back at Uni on this upcoming Monday... But now some more updates on the time that has gone by...

This last week and a half, I have spent both in Liljendal, Helsinki/Helsingfors and in Turku/Åbo.. and some time in Porvoo/Borgå... In Liljendal I was mostly chilling, going for walks, reading, ect.. You can see some wintery pictures of me and my dog, Funny... unfortunately the snow didnt last for too long...I was already planning going skiing..but no... instead I did try a little of the ice while being out walking that I fell straight backwards in a hill, leaving nice blue marks... he he..but no broken bones... I told my dad, when he said that thank God I didnt break anything, "You´d have to have a motorsaw to break my bones..." I will not proove myself to be right...but at least it is close to the truth, I think, since I have never ever broken a bone in my entire almost 25-year-old body... he he...

Last week Tuesday Jesus Revolution was in Borgå holding a concert in the evening. I got three of "my girls" with me from Liljendal and we went there... It was a nice evening and good to see old and new people..:-)

Then last week Thursday I overcame myself and got up at 6am to go to Borgå... We only had one car available, so I drove mom to work to 7.30 and then I went swimming in Borgå... It was sooooo nice!!! I was swimming for one hour and then I sat in the steem sauna for quite some time just enjoying life and relaxing!!! Sooooo goood!!!!!!!!!! :-) After that I headed to Maria Åsvik´s place and we had some nice time catching up and pondering on the exciting life with God. We then went out to eat lunch at a Chinese restaurant in town... So great to spend time with my big sister in Christ! :-) After that I just had to go and pick up mom from work (he he sounds almost like picking up the kids, ey, a little backwards..She works at a kindergarden...). I then drove straight to my next "meeting" with Minna at Liljendal Shell. We had a nice catching up time over some tea and chocolate..he he.. That reminded me of how fast time flies!!! I had´t really seen her since last summer we concluded!!! CRAZY!! I have no pictures of her here, cause she refused on me taking any so... Even papparazzi herself couldnt violate that wish...;-) I also got a nice evening that Wednesday with my grandparents! It was great seeing them again and just spending time with them! I cherish each of those moments!!!

Then Friday to Sunday Hanna and I went to Turku/Åbo for a Network 21 Weekend Seminar. The main speaker was Peter Cox from Australia!!! It was a really great and inspiring weekend and it really challenged me in many different ways!! No words can really describe it... It is like one of the speakers said..."It´s like trying to describe what cinnamon tastes like...". But it was deffinately a special weekend... Here are some pics from there...

After the weekend I still went to Liljendal for a couple of days before I headed to Helsinki with all my luggage!!! I stayed at Hanna´s place and we had some more good time together... Tuesday evening I got to see my dear childhood friend Maria and we had a nice catching up time over some evening snack...

I also got to spend more time with my cousins Eva and Catrin. Catrin (Titti) made lunch for us on Wednesday and I finally got to meet her boyfriend Kalle. :-) We had a really great time together! I also experienced the most strangest thing ever in the kitchen there as I was wipping some wipcream... all the sudden as I was gonna add some sugar and mix it the mashine started going by itself (at least I have no clue if I pushed some strange button) and the cream went flying all over the kitchen... the "wipping machinge" got stuck in the bowl... We were all really surprised and shocked cause none of us really understood what happened. But it all ended happily with no injury, just a big laugh and some cleaning...:-)

I am so thankful for my wonderful friends and family and it has been amazing to have this vacation and just relax and see people!!! On Wednesday evening Hanna had her first cell group at her place. So I got to be apart of that too and I met Aami for the first time and Matilda, that I have met a few times before...:-) We had a nice evening together and it was great to get to know the girls, these wonderful sisters in Christ! :-)

Now I am back in Tartu after having travelled 8hours with 45kg luggage (5bags)!!! I travelled from Helsinki with Eeva and Joona, and it was so great to see both of them again! :-) So now I am here settling back in Tartu and getting prepared for the Spring term!!! It is wonderful to be back here again and I am excited for what this year will bring!!! Life with Jesus is sooooo exciting!!! Praise God!!! :-) :-) :-) :-)

Vacation in Finland...

Last Tuesday evening I arrived in Finland... I stayed at my sister Hanna´s place in Helsinki until Saturday. It was great to see her and spend time with her again... I must have been exhausted, because the first few days I slept 12 hours each night!!! :-) It was great that I also got to see and spend time with my cousins, Eva, Titti and Elin.

On Thursday evening we played volleyball with some other Christians at one of the Churches in Helsinki. It was fun times... The on Friday I got to see Julia and we went for a long niiiice walk along the water... It was sooo beautiful and amazing... :-) Always great to go for walks and talks with friends... :-) Friday evening was a baptismal and worship night at Fila Church and it was a POWERFUL evening!!! God´s presence come sooo strongly and the worship was totally amazing!!!

Saturday morning there was Women´s Brunch at Fila. It was such a wonderful meeting... Women together talking over a cup of coffee and snacks, worship, background music, some preaching/sharing and prayer... It was sooo good...made me really miss Hillsong Women!!! :-) It´s great being a woman!!! :-D

After that meeting we headed back to Hanna´s place, just in time to quickly pack and then Elin and I jumpped on a bus to Sibbo, where there was a youth conference... I then spent the time there undtil Sunday afternoon. It was great to meet people I haven´t seen in a while, and also to meet new people... :-) After that I jumpped on a bus towards Liljendal, where I then I arrived just in time for the cellgroup... And again it was great to see all the people... :-)

Now after the weekend I have had time to just relax, read, go for looong walks, listening to worship and teaching, seeing some friends and relatives, and "my fredax girls" when we went to the Jesus Revolution concert...:-) so it has been such a great time to just be able to recharge and relax... Praise God!!! I am gaining strength for the spring term...:-) I am sooo inlove with Jesus, and God is just sooo good and faithful and wonderful and amazing, and all the other wonderful words in the world!!! There is just not enough words to praise Him!!! :-) We serve an AWESOME God!!!

Last weekend Tom Jensen came to Estonia with the team- Ruben, Calle and Fredrik. It was a wonderful uplifting and intense extended weekend! Friday there was youth meeting with the guys preaching... The Holy Spirit was moving in the meeting, touching people´s lives...:-) How wonderful is the Holy Spirit when He comes and speaks and does things in people´s lives! There is none like our God! Saturday was Tom Jensen´s seminar from 11-15. It was as great as always! :-) Inspiring and equipping...and lots of laughter...:-)

After the seminar there was a musical in our church- "The miracle in Vostok". There were many children from the Christian school that were apart of it, and even though I didn´t get to see all of it, what I saw was sooo good!!! :-) I really would love to see the whole musical one of these days!... Anyways, the reason I didn´t see all of it was that we split up in two teams, one team went to Põlva and the other went to Viljandi for youth meetings. I got the privilege to be the driver for the Viljandi team. Andrus, Ruben, Benjamin and I went to Viljandi and had a great evening there! Ruben was preaching and it was such an amazing worship and again the Holy Spirit moved wonderfully in the meeting... The other team in Põlva (Calle, Fredrik and Dima) also had a great time (so I heard) and they got to play basketball after the meeting with the youth...:-)

Sunday afternoon/evening I also went to Põlva were Tom and the team had another meeting... I have never ever seen Tom being soooo on fire, or preaching with more energy than then!!! Talk about some serious duracell!!! :-) It was an amazing meeting... :-) It was so great being in Põlva again... such a wonderful passionate church! It is always so encouraging to see the changes and growth... :-) God is good! :-) After coming back from Põlva we had a movienight with some youth and the norwegians at my place... It´s always so great having people over! It is such a blessing with friends- sisters and brothers in Christ! Talk about blessing! :-)

Monday I still got some time with Tom and the guys with shopping and lunch, before they headed off to the airport... Then in the evening we had youthleaders meeting... It was powerful with some serious prayer!!! It is so great to serve God side by side with all the wonderful youthleaders! I am excited for what God wants to do this year in the youthwork! It all starts when God gets to do His work in us and change us!!! :-) God is sooo good!!! :-)

Exams and life...

This time of the year-January- is the exam period at Uni, so the weeks after New Years were some hectic ones with many hours of studies... That is also one of the reasons blogging didnt get any time...he he... but hey... the 2 ½ first weeks of Jan was books and books, and more books, and some movie nights with friends, walks, late nights, Meelike´s birthday, church, cell and other cool things also took place... so yeah, now when the exams are over it is just such an amazing feeling of freedom...It was the strangest feeling ever to be able to TOTALLY relax after the last exam!!! I have again been soooo grateful and thankful to God and He has again showed Himself faithful! What a God we serve!!! When we put Him first ALL other things also fall into place!!! :-) Hallelujah!!! :-)

An overview of MVV and the New Year

The tradition has become to be at MVV or Midvinterveckan, which is a New Year´s youth conference/camp... It is always a place where the Holy Spirit gets to do so many wonderful things in people´s lives...it is always so great to hear all the testimonies at the end of the camp... This year was really great as well and it was so amazing to have a little "Hillsong reunion" as Faith was there to do the digital vidio workshop and all the filming during the week, Trine and Adrian came from Norway and had the worship and choir workshop and they were also involved in the worship-so great!!! And the the Åsviks were there of course...:-) so it was just so great to see all those guys again...And it was amazing to see both old friends and get new friends and so on...a very blessed time...and amazing praise and worship, prayer and teaching...:-)

Lots and lots could be said but I´ll let the pics and the movie clips say the rest... :-) We serve an AMAZING and AWESOME GOD!!! :-) He is sooo good and wants to flood our lives with His blessings!!! SO be prepared for the most amazing year so far!!! God has so much in store for your life!!! Just spend time and soak in His presence!!! An overview of Christmas 2007...

The Christmas is such a wonderful and blessed time together with friends and family! This Christmas we had the honour and priviledge of having Faith staying with us! It was such a great time and so great to see her again! For those of you that do not know her, she is a cool Canadian chick that now lives in Denmark teaching at a teenage Bible school. We met in Australia at Hillsong College and we were neighbours there... :-) So it was wonderful to meet again and spend some time together! We had so much fun! (As you might see in some of the pics..) We were singing Christmas songs in the car while driving to one relatives house to the next... :-) Christmas time reminds you of the wonderful people God has placed in your life. Friends and family-they are all a gift from God! And we are also reminded of the biggest gift of all- Jesus!!!:-) But Christmas also reminds you of the loved ones passed away...this Christmas was the first Christmas without our beloved aunt, who passed away 10 months ago... This really makes me think how important it is that we really take the time and show our thankfulness for all the wonderful people God blesses us with in our life... God is so good!!!

Youth Conference- "Aeg On Käes"

Well, I am still alive, if someone wondered... I just have had so many things going on that i havent had time to steal for updating my blog...:-)

So it has been wonderful weeks with outreach, meetings, Israel day last weekend, and OUR VERY FIRST YOUTH CONFERENCE at ELU SÕNA!!! The conference "Aeg on Käes" (Time is at hand) took place this weekend. There was worship, concert, good preaching,seminars, films, games, fellowship and more... so great! Anette was singing a few of her songs and it was really amazing!!!You can check out her blog...she should have some clips there soon... :-) Ristee band had the concert and we had a Sanctuary worship night last night, which was great! I was so happy to be able to be part of the worship team, and it was an amazing feeling actually when I thought about the fact that I was standing there worshipping in Estonian!Like I so would not have thought I´d find myself here, a few years ago!:-) All of the preaching was also really good. Gunnar Kotiesen and Tom Uiga was preaching on Friday, Märt Saar and Allan Kroll on Saturday and Eino Lilleleht on Sunday.

Besides for all church things, school has been crazy, and will continue so up until Christmas, I am afraid... But God is soo good and faithful! :-) Even though it has been alot, it has been really good. Tomorrow we will have cell and next week is Anette´s last week in Estonia, before she moves back to Norway... So have to make the most out of that as well!!! But yeah, now some pics and then I am back to the studies...:-)

The third week of October...

So then I will try to "shortly" update from last week...hmmm...so much to say about that!!! Anette and I left to go to Finland on Thursday, as I had Thursday, Friday off school... She stayed over night wed-thurs and then we left after she had been at the Christian school in the morning. We took the bus to Tallinn and then the boat over to Helsinki. In Helsinki my dad came and picked us up and then after a quick "sightseeing" in Helsinki (this was Anette´s first real time in Finland) we drove to Borgå were we met up with my mom. We then had dinner there at a Chinese restaurant and got a chance to meet up with my Amway upline Anne. I was so happy that Anette and Anne could meet!:-) It was a great and effective day! All of us were quite tired as we came to Liljendal later that night... Anette and I then had some time on Friday in Liljendal when I could show her around a little and we had time to relax before we then went on to Helsinki that evening for the first meeting at the ACTION conference... Ebi and Linnea came with us from Liljendal and it was so good to see them again!

Lucy and Ian Fisher was there at the conference on Friday and Saturday. The Friday meeting was good, but the best was definitely Saturday with the seminars and two meetings. Lucy preached in the morning (check Anette´s blog for detail) and Ian preached at the evening meeting at Andreaskyrkan in Helsinki. The seminar was really just sooo amazing! I got so much out of it and the Holy Spirit just really spoke to me. Ian was talking about worship teams, and the Church and so so much more, about how we need to think bigger and be creative, ect. It was so encouraging and inspiring and also to see what God wants to do more and more in and through the Chruch. I have been reminded again and again of all the things I have received that year at Hillsong, and I feel so priviledged to have received and been equipped with so much wonderful teaching and vision during that time, but also I am once again remined that the one who has received much from that one is also required much. It has been so great to see and take part of all that Ian and Lucy has been sharing, and I can just say, that they have so much to give! Cause the Christians and the Church in Europe really has to get stirred up to become alive, radical, relevant in the time we live, and when the Church really stands up and takes it´s position Europe and the whole world will be shaken! God has entrusted us with the Gospel and to share it and to really reach out to people! And as Ian was sharing at the seminar, we have to love people!!! We are loving God and loving people! We have to have a genuine love for people and in all we do the love of Christ needs to be reflected in that way! Well, I can say so much more, and yet not bring across what was said in those meetings, but it was sooo good! :-) Sunday morning Daniel Stenmark, a youth pastor from Sweden was preaching. It was also really good! And before the preaching we took time in worship and we prayed for Finland and so on. An amazing Sunday morning meeting! I was so blessed by it! :-)

During the whole weekend Anette, Matilda (from Jyväskylä), and I stayed at my sister´s place. We had a good time together although we didnt have that much time together (just in the mornings and evenings really). But althroughout the conference it was soo good to see friends and relatives! There is just so many wonderful people and it´s sad that it is only so often that I really get to see them. But this was a good and "effective" way to see many people and at least get a little time with the girls from Liljendal, friends from all over Finland (and Australia!), my wonderful cousins, Eva, Titti and Elin and so many more! So wonderful guys, it was so great to see you all again! Second week of October...

So the second week of October was also busy but totally AMAZING!!!:-) Besides school there was HILLSONG GRACE CONFERENCE in Tallinn!!! Anette and I got to borrow Eino and Lilian´s car so we drove to Tallinn on Friday and went to the evening meeting there at Neli Pühi Kirik. That evening was soooo great with wonderful worship with the Hillsong team and Ian Fisher was preaching. It was soooo great to see them again and especially Lucy Fisher,who was my singing teacher at Hillsong!:-) I felt like I was seriously soaring on wings that evening...no actually all weekend!!!:-) It was just sooo amazing with the worship and all!!! That evening after the meeting we went out to a café with some people. It was so cool, cause I got to meet many new Christian Estonian people! :-) Both people from Tallinn, Hapsalu, and Paide-even Tartu people...:-) We had a great time. :-) Anette and I then stayed at Ülimiste Hotel, at a really nice business room that we got for half price, inclusing breakfast:-)

Saturday was seminars in the morning, and that was just amazing time! Lucy was preaching first and we had some worship before we split up into the different seminars... I attended the worship seminar with Lucy. It was good!!!:-) I was singing before all the people there as Lucy called me up as an example, so that was challenging and stretching, but still good. Anette was also called up to sing. :-) The seminars were really blessed and then after lunch in the Old Town and some shopping in town, we headed for Kalevi Sportihall where the concert was in the evening... Well, here comes some serious updates again...I will do it one week at a time...soooo much has happened and that is also why there has been no updates lately...

So first week in October... There was lots of great time in church, with friends, cell group, and that Sunday evening Ian Fisher from Hillsong Church Australia was preaching in TARTU!!! It was sooo great to see him again and to hear some serious Aussie accent!!!:-) That weekend I also got to have many friends over and we had such an amazing time together... Wow, I have to keep up with the updating!!! Everything happens sooo fast, well or time just really flies, so I have a hard time keeping up with everything!:-)But here comes some pics of main events from last week... Then Friday was great starting with tennis in the morning. It was my first real time of playing tennis, and it was so much fun! It was an amazing cool and charming autum day and it was so cool to gather with my classmates doing sports together, not only studies..hehe Lotta from my class she is like professional and she wanted to coach us. It was so good!:-) Also it was such a lovely place, playing at Toome Hill, in that beautiful environment!:-) Such a great start of the day... 2 hour tennis, plus biking, and I could feel the effects!;-)

Friday evening we had youth meeting. Helari was our guest speaker. He had a good preaching about staying right before God and not getting entangeled by sin. It was such a wonderful meeting, with worship from Heaven! God´s presence was so strong and it was just amazing! I also had the honour of taking up the offering. After the meeting we had fellowship and snacks.

Saturday was my study day(which day isn´t, hehe), but I also went to Põlva with Anette in the evening for the youth meeting. It was so lovely to be back there! It was first time I was back there after summer. It was so great to see everybody there! The Church is constantly changing, with both the building projects and the youth rising up more and more to be involved in everything! :-) Wonderful!!! Again I had the honour of taking up the offering and Anette was preaching. It was her last time in Põlva before she leaves to go back to Norway, so she shared from her heart, really encouraging and challenging the youth to fully pursue God and everything He has for them. It was soooo good! It was really a word in due season, and I believe the youth really took a hold of it! We all need to keep the hunger alive and pursue God more and more! I dont know about you but I am so hungry for more of Him!!! More of his preasence, more of his word, more time with him, to get to know him more and more and more!!! :-) I pray that is the cry of your heart as well! Can you imagine what happens when his children all over the earth really begins to cry out for him, to really pursue Him and when we fully dedicate ourselves to Him!!! Ah, I am sooo longing to see God move in the earth like never before! I so want to see people coming to Christ, people´s lives being changed, people being healed, restored, delivered!!! Also from this cry and desire I think my song "Fill me with your compassion" arose... But I really feel like challenging and encouraging all of us to rise up higher! God has soooo much in store for us! Let us not settle for living everyday life in the ordinary way. Let´s lift our eyes and heart to God and let Him fill us till it overflows, so that we can always walk through life looking at things from God´s perspective! It is a little bit bigger than ours!!! WOW, well, I wasnt planning to preach, but I just want to share something from my heart to yours! May God seriously bless you and draw you closer to Him, this fall. He wants to pour something new and fresh into your life! Everyday is a new and exciting day in our walk with God! Let us stay fresh and close to the Father´s heart...:-)

So yeah, continuation...hehe...Anette then came to my place overnight from Sat to Sunday. Sunday meeting was also sooo amazing! Ludmila was preaching about prayer and we prayed so much that whole meeting! It was seriously a touch from Heaven in that meeting! It´s great to see how God is moving in people´s hearts! The worship was also so good and it was so great to see Lilian back in worship again! (Well, for me that is first time, since I have not been here THAT long..hehe) It was amazing! In the evening after some hours of studying, I met up with Vivia and Liina and we went for a nice looong walk that ended up at my place for evening tea.:-) We had such a blessed time, and I am so blessed to have friends like them! You guys are amazing! I am soooo thankful for you!!! :-) I feel so blessed!!!

As I am going through pics from this weekend, I just realize how much has taken place! Not to mention during the week! There has been cells, church, catching up with friends, youth, movie nights, and the list goes on!!! We had an amazing youth evening last Friday! This was the first time we had a different kind of meeting, with some games, simple worship, watching some film clips, and pictures on the theme of "Joy", and then we had a time more like Bible study, and not the preaching form... First there wasnt so many people, but at the end we were still quite a few gathered. We had such good time, and everybody could share and read from the Bible. It was really cool! I like it! :-) After the youth meeting 4 of us, Mona, Helina, Anette and I ended up watching a movie at Anette´s place.

Saturday I had some studytime in the morning and then in the afternoon I was invited over for lunch to Maria´s place. Or actually she was "house-sitting" a friends house, so she invited me over there and had a beautiful lunch prepared when I arrived. It was so good seeing her, cause it has been soooo long since I last saw her! She studies history and goes to another church, so I dont usually happen to see her that often. Not to mention that we both are busy ladies...;-) So it was so good to get the time with her and catch up after summer and all...

Then from there I had to go to my next "catching up meeting". Viktoria, one of the precious girls, came over to my place for dinner and a movie night. I had not seen her either after summer, so it was so great to see her and spend quality time with her!

Then on Sunday was really special cause ANETTE was preaching!!! It was sooo good!!! She is a great preacher and I believe God has so much in store for her! He will greatly use you girl in so many ways!!! The preaching was about different seasons in our lives. So many good points and you could feel the anointing.:-) Also we prayed for Tom, Julia, Andrus and Helen as they are moving into new leadership positions in church. Julia is giving over the main youth leader position to Tom, as she now is full-time teacher in the Christian school. So now Tom is our youth leader. :-) Andrus is now in charge of worship. It is so great to see these wonderful servants moving into the things God has for them even more! You guys are so amazing!!! :-)

After church we went out to eat lunch at Taverna. It was so funny, cause Helina, Vivia, Anette an dI went there and as we came there Liina and her family was there. Weekend in Finland...

Well, last weekend I spent in Finland. It was great cause Anette was going to Tallinn to pick up her boyfriend Jostein from the airport, so I got a ride with her to Tallinn. We had a good time together, although both of us were rediculously tired..hehe We spent some time at Ülemiste shopping center before I headed to the boat...

I spent the night in Helsinki at Hanna´s place before we then went to Liljendal on Friday. It was good to be back there, to see some people, and then the wedding on saturday and so on.. On the way to Liljendal we stopped by mom and dad´s newly renovated apartment, that they are in the process of renting out...it was so nice!! Now I saw it in the finished condition...:-) some pics from there...

Well then in Liljendal I had some time visiting the old people at my summer work place. It was so good to see them again! :-) They are just so lovely and funny...they sure put a smile on your face! And it was nice to see that the oposite reaction also took place...it is amazing how "little" you can do for someone to make their day!

That same evening we also went to visit my grandparents. It was so good to see them again! :-) Have to take the chance while being in Finland...

Then Saturday went to studying and getting ready for the wedding. The wedding you can read about separately in the previous post... but here again I can say that is was an amazing wedding!

Well, then Sunday was not much else but packing, and leaving to go to Helsinki.. Then Anette and Jostein came to meet me at the Harbour in Tallinn! It was soooo great to see both of them!!! And they then shocked me in the car...well, first I thought they were engaged when they looked so happy/full of secrets...but then they popped it out...that Jostein´s present to Anette was a trip to Barcelona in April!!!! AND the reason of my laugh/heart attack in the car, was due to the fact that he had also booked a ticket in my name!!!:-) So OH MY GOSH, WE ARE SO GOING TO BARCELONA IN APRIL!!! Again the same gang from the Italy Roadtrip!!! It is just sooo amazing!!! Sometimes you wonder how much great things God has in store for us!! And I am sure the reason that we get it little by little is that we would be BLOWN away if he just scooped down all the blessings at once!!!:-) We serve such an amazing God!!! :-) So yeah! AMAZING!!! Then we still got some wonderful time together in Tallinn before we dropped Jostein off at the airport and drove on to Tartu... Such a blessed time!!! :-)

Julia and Oscar´s Wedding!!!

A week ago, to be precise, Julia and Oscar finally got each other!:-) It was a beautiful wedding with tones from Heaven and lots of fun and program! It does make you realise how fast time is going.:-) It doesn´t seem like a long time ago that we spent many late youth nights at the Mission´s Church in Borgå...:-) It was so great to see friends that I have not seen in a long time! I do now understand why my description in the wedding guest page was..."Jenny Djupsjöbacka, daughter of the wedding preast. Has a hard time staying in Finland... Studies medicine in Tartu." :-) The distance does creep in at some point in time and you realize how many years has actually past...
Well, shortly, it was a fantastic autum wedding with much laughter...:-) (That you get when Anders and Elna takes care of the entertainment..hehe) And the music during the ceremony was just amazing, with Christoffer, Elna, Jenna and Christer singing and Emelie, Eerika and Lina playing. Not to mention all the other talented people contributing with wonderful musik and program at the party... A lovely time all together!

Weekend Update:-)

How are ya doing? Here comes some pics and update from the weekend. It was nice, cause this weekend was a bit longer, as we had friday off..:-) So Friday morning started well with a wonderful swimming session at Aura Keskus with Anette. It was nice and relazing with swimming, sauna and girl talk at the same time. ;-) That morning I then had a meeting with the owner of my apartment and the real-estate lady. I got a new contract for my beautiful home, so I will have it for at least 2 more years! Jeeee!!!:-) I was soo happy!!!

Anette and I then had lunch in town before I headed home for some studying. In the evening Anette came to my place for a movie night and sleepover. We watched "Step up", which was soo good! It was so inspiring and the dancing was just amazing!:-) After the movie we decided to go for a walk before hitting for bed. We walked to the city and sat down at Raekojaplats for a bit. These "energy drink people" then came and gave us a bottle of this new energy drink. We decided to drink it the following day and not distract our beauty-sleep... well to make a long story short, when we had tasted the drink the following day we both ended up with the worst headache ever...so I do not recommend for you to buy this new "Traffic" energydrink... Just a little hint...he he...

Saturday Anette, Mona, her friend, and I had lunch in the city. Besides that and the headache, it was mainly a study and relaxing day for me...

Sunday (today) was church. Pastor Enar Jallai from Põlva was preaching and Anette was leading worship. It was a really good Sunday meeting! I got alot from the preaching and the worship was amazing! :-) One cool thing was that there was a man from Norway who needed translation, so I translated the whole service from Estonian to Swedish!!! I was a bit unsure at first if I should do it, but then I went for it, and I am glad I did! By God´s grace I was able to translate it, and it was a really good traning and also a test for my level of understanding estonian...:-) God is so good! :-)

After the meeting we headed for Anette´s apartment were Helina, Anette and I had a delicious lunch... (You guessed it, it included chicken..hehe) We spent a relaxing afternoon there and then we went for a walk in the city before I headed home...and you guessed it...some more studying in the evening... It has been another wonderful weekend and now I am ready to face another school week. :-)

A New Season in Tartu 2007

So guys, the fall is finally here... Now school has started for me again. I came back to Estonia last Friday. I spent some time at my sister´s place in Helsinki before coming here. We had a good time with sauna in the evening and then some shopping and lunch the following day. Here you can also see some pics of that...

When I arrived in Tartu, Anette came to meet me at the busstation. We then spent all weekend together, with her staying at my place. It was so good seeing her and spending time with her again!! We had an amazing "girl weekend" with talks, walks, shopping Church and then Sunday after church we met up with our other dear friends, Kristiina, Joona, and Eeva for lunch at La Dolce Vita...Good times!!!:-)

I started school on Monday, September 3rd. It is really good being back in beautiful Tartu again!!!:-) I have had some mixed feelings concerning this year, to be honest. There will be many changes taking place this year, the biggest one being Anette moving back to Norway again... Even though I know that it will be an amazing year, I have been a bit resistant.. I also know there is LOTS of studies and work to be done...I can feel the big challenge...BUT I am also getting really excited about the new semester, subjects, ect. I am once again reminded of God´s faithfulness - With God all things are possible. It feels good to be studying what you are interested in and what I feel God has called me to do. I just know that I need all God´s grace once again, but when I am weak He is strong...:-) It is comforting knowing that since He has called me, He will also make a way through it! :-) God has so much more faith in us than we have in ourselves sometimes... That is actually a bit overwhelming... but when it´s something big, it´s God!!!:-)

I am also excited about the youth work, and Church in general. There are many changes taking place in the youthwork, with leaders shifting, and people moving on to other areas of churchlife. Change can be challenging. It requires both openness, flexibility and making the most of the situation at hand. But I think the beauty of it is to see "life in motion". It is so good to see people moving on to new things and new leaders coming along to serve. It is growth. We had an amazing gathering on Monday with the youth leaders, and it was so amazing to see how God is at work! I think we could all sence how God is doing something new and fresh... So it will be an exciting fall-year! :-) God is good!!! :-)

The last update only contained stuff from the roadtrip, but I realized that I need to write more from my stay in Norway and then the time I had in Estonia...:-)

So, I had about 1½ days in Norway before I flew to Estonia... In that time I got to see some stuff...I met Anette´s family, her mom, brother and his wife. We also got some time over lunch with Tom Jensen which was really great, and I got to see some of Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and Oslo. I got to see Zoè Kirken and some of the staff there...:-) And then Anette and I walked around in the old part of Fredrikstad...

At the airport in Oslo, we met up with Lise, who also came to Estonia for a wedding. It was so great to see her again!

In Estonia I spent 3days at our youth camp. It was a blessed youth camp,which I really enjoyed, even though I was a bit exhausted after the trip... :-) We had worship, preaching, movie making, dancing, and lots of time and fun in the sun!!! It was great to meet some new people and see God moving in people´s lives...And then some wonderful news... Julia and Tom got engaged during the camp!!! Soo amazing!!!:-) Congratulations to you too once again!!!Here you can see some pics from there...

Saturday the camp ended and there was a family "summerday", where more people from the church came to spend the day. It was so great to have fellowship like that in the church!

I also got some more time with Lise, as she spent one night at my place. We had such a blessed time together! Lise you are so wonderful, sweetie! Sunday we went to church and enjoyed a wonderful meeting and then we took a bus to Tallinn later that day.

Roadtrip to Italy!!! :-)

What can I say...? I was blessed with a wonderful holiday roadtrip through Europe to Italy! It still seams like a dream, a bit surreal, even now after the trip...

On the 5th of August after my morning shift at work, I finished packing my bags and headed to the airport. I flew to Copenhagen that evening where three Norwegians and a BMW were waiting for me. The travelleres were, my wonderful wonderful friend Anette, her boyfriend Jostein and his friend Oystein (sorry can´t make norwegian Ö)... They came driving down from Norway, and together the four of us continued driving through the night through Germany.

Early in the morning we came to Austria, were we stopped and had breakfast at a river.

We then continued down to the northern parts of Italy. We came to Chioggia and found a hotel in Sottomarina near the beach. There we stayed two nights, had some beach time, some wonderful Italian food and icecream, and long walks through the city...

The following day we spent in Venice. What a wonderful experience! Such an amazing city! So charming!!!

We then continued down towards Rome and we drove through San Marino, the little country inside of Italy. Rome was fantastic! I was so blown away by that city actually!!! Soo much to see and amazing buildings!!! We got both some Rome by night and Rome by day! Beautiful, beautiful!

After that we headed for the beach and got some time there before we continued driving further up north...We stopped in a small place called Tarquinia and stayed there at a hotel. It was a charming little city. We had breakfast in the city and walked around in the small streets and shops.

That day we were supposed to have a beach day, but the weather didnt agree with that plan, so instead we headed up to Pisa and saw the tower. We had a nice time there in the rain. A different rainy touristy experience. Quite charming that as well:-).

From there we drove up to Genova. We checked in at a hotel, had dinner in the city and then enjoyed a nice movie evening at our hotel. :-) The following day was amazing with warm sunny weather, and we had an AMAZING day at the beach!!!:-D So beautiful and nice! As you will see in the pictures...;-)

In the evening we drove further north to Milano, were we found a nice hotel, which only had an available suite-so we took it! :-) Talk about nice hotel...hehe we then enjoyed some delicious Mexican food that evening! Most of the people in the city was actually gone- all Italians were by the coast..hehe, we though for a while that we were the only ones in the city...but then we found plenty of people at the restaurants...

The next day we drove on and continued up to Switzerland. Talk about a beautiful country!!! The mountains were just so beautiful! We were acting like some serious papparazis! :-) (you know me...) The wonderful Swiss Alps...

Well, then we also drove through Lichtenstein, up to München, were we spent some hours that evening. München was a nice surprise for me actually. I dont know what I had expected, but it was a nice place...:-) and the restaurant owner really did his job well... :-)

We then drove through the rest of Germany that night, taking a 4 hour stop at a petrol station, were we slept in the car... We then got to Denmark in the morning and drove to Sweden. We had a little beach stop in Denmark though... That evening we arrived in Norway. We were all more or less tired..hehe...

I then got about one and a half day in Norway, which was really nice. :-) I felt like a princess the whole journey!!! I just felt soo blessed and I was overwhelmed at God´s goodness and faithfulness. He blessed me so much financially through all these amazing people! And I could not have enjoyed the company more than I did! Guys, you are amazing! Thank you for an unforgettable trip!!! :-D

Anette, Lise and I then flew from Norway to Estonia. I had a few days there at our youth camp and after that I returned to Finland, where I am at the moment. I have a few more days of work and then I head back to Estonia for next years studies... What a blessed and amazing summer it has been!!! Praise God! :-D

Summer Update!!!

Ok, this is crazy! I haven´t updated my blog in one and a half month! so here comes a breef overview...

well, mostly I have been back in Finland working taking care of elderly people. It has been a really good job, that I have enjoyed. It is so good to get new experience (after so many years at shell working in the cafeteria branch and in the kitchen). It has been a very blessed working season. I will still work one and a half weeks before I return to Tartu for 2nd year at medical school...

I was so blessed being at the Conference at my Church in Tartu in the beginning of July. We also got a nice time with my family up north at our summer cottage. That was a really nice relaxing quality time! Besides of this time off work I have used the time seeing friends, the cell girls from Fredax and spending time with my relatives at my grandparents summer cottage near by... I think this has been much of the summer program in general...but then comes my biggest blessing this summer...A ROADTRIP TO ITALY!!! I will write more about that in a bit...cause there is sooo much to share from that experience...but now, a picture tour from this summer...

I am now back in Tartu for our SUMMER CONFERENCE! It is soo amazing to be back, even though I have only been away for about 2weeks..hehe.. Yesterday I arrived in the afternoon and got ready for the evening meeting. It was a great start at the conference with Pastor Eino preaching about running our race well. Today I was helping in the cafeteria and I have enjoyed it so much.:-) I "missed" the day meetings in that sense, but instead I think I received a double portion this evening when Stefan Salmonsson was preaching. It was sooo good and so funny! Life changing preaching spiced with humor! I like that! I laughed so much I think my stomach muscles got some serious good training!;-) He was preaching about the difference with living a life searching for happiness and a life in God´s blessing. Seriously great preaching! And especially for me who can (sometimes) get caught up too much in my feelings!:-) I received so much this evening, it was great!:-) And tonight I was also part of the choir, which was sooo great! I felt something getting stirred up in my spirit and Hillsong memories from the choir came rushing back...I felt so at home there:-) So yes, it has been amazing so far and the best is yet to come!!! Still 3more days of the conference!:-) AMAZING!!!:-)

Then Anette came to my place and spent the night here, which was nice as usual!:-) So really lovely days, in other words! God is good!!! Hallelujah!:-)

Today I had a day off work. Even though the weather has been rainy and a bit cold lately, today it was not raining at least and I went to Borgå to meet my friend Maria that came from Helsinki. I haven´t seen her for close to a year, so it was so good to catch up! We are childhood friends and it´s funny how even though we haven´t seen each other for a while, it feels as there has been only a little time inbetween... :-)

We met in Borgå and walked around in the shops and in the city, being like tourists taking pictures...(you know me!!hehe) Then we went from there a bit outside the city to this mansion Haikko. I haven´t actally been there before even though I live so close! So we went there walked around taking pictures talking and sharing at the same time...:-) It was so beautiful! :-) Then we went inside to the fancy restaurant and she was so lovely and she teated me for lunch! We had a really nice time there! Then from there she came here to Liljendal with me for a while before she headed back to Helsinki. Such a lovely time...:-)

Summer in Finland...

Now I have been here in Finland for a little over a week... I have begun my summer job working with old people and helping them through homeservice and at this old people´s home/community... It has been good and a wonderful experience to "get closer" to old people and see all the beauty they have to share through just being themselves...:-) Good with new perspectives and experiences... They are sooo cute in their own kind of way!:-) Makes me think of the scripture "He has made everything beautiful in its time..."

Last weekend I had one day off and I got to spend some time over midsummer at my grandparents summer house...It was a nice and relaxing time with relatives, swimming, sun tanning, sauna,reading, a nice looong jog/walk (11km!!!) and some good food... Here are some pics from that weekend...

Praise God I finally have my SUMMER HOLIDAY!!!:-) :-) :-) Today is officially the first day of it! :-) Yesterday I had my last exam for this year!I hope it went well...haven´t gotten the result yet, but the practical part of the anatomy test went well-I got 19,5 / 2o points! God is so good!All glory to Him!:-) So yeah I hope that the written part also went quite well...let´s see...It is hard to believe that I have finished my first year of medical studies!:-) Wow...

I just got back from an AMAZING day at Otepää. Anette and I drove there this morning and spent the day at the beach, walking around, taking pictures, eating out, and we even did some shopping and found so many nice things!!! It was just soooo Amazing!! (Did I mention that already;-) ) Here are some pictures from our day...

There are some other updates I have to make here as well of things that has happened in the midst of this hectic exam period... Some wonderful high-lights... Katrin and Lauri´s wedding!!! That was last Saturday, and it was really beautiful. I only participated in the first part of the wedding, at the church, so for more pictures of the continuation of the celebration, check Anette´s blog... But yeah here are some pictures from their wedding...

Then the Friday before that we had our last cell group before the summer holidays...we had a combined cell together with Getlin and Kristel´s cell group... It was nice having all the girls here. We were mostly planning the last youth outing that our cells organized for this Friday... Some pics from the cell...

This Friday evening after I had my wonderful last exam over we had the youth outing. We went out of Tartu to Michel and Triin´s country side. It was a beautiful place and a wonderful evening... We had some worship, games, barbecue, sharing, swimming, relaxing, and so on.. some of the youth had tents with them and they spent the night there as well... A really wonderful start on the summer holiday!!!

So yeah, wonderful, wonderful! God is so good and faithful and He sees us through anything!!!:-) All our sources are in Him, and I so thank Him for all the strength and grace He has given me during this whole school year, but especially during this exam period!!! All glory to Him!!!

Seeking God´s Face...

I wanna take this moment (yes, in the midst of my studies...) and give you a few thoughts and inspirational scriptures...

A few thoughts on seeking God... It is just so stirred up in my spirit right now, of how amazing God is and how faithful He is and the importance of always taking time and seeking God, being in front of the throne in His presence... You know, we can always have excuses, not to put God first, not to take that time, but the truth is that if we don't cling on to God and remain in Him, we are up for a failure!

In my current situation - when the pressure is high of the "stress" of having to study and getting in all in my head - I am so thankful to God that in the midst of all that, I can take those moments with Him, and He gives me the strength and joy to keep on pressing on... I seriously don't know what I would do without Him!!!

It is not always about how much time you take, because sometimes we don't have the time to spend half of the day just being with God, if you know what I mean. But it is more the attitude of the heart and that you do life with God, not just take the time with Him... Yes, like in any relationship you need quality time, to sit down and talk and share, but that doesn't mean that you spend a whole day just talking... (yes occasionally) but like any other relationship, you "do life together", you eat together, you walk together, and so on...And that is the relationship God wants with us, that we don't walk around ignoring him all day, but that we continually are in fellowship with Him... How wonderful is the Holy Spirit!!!:-) And I think that it is this "every moment walk" with God that is so exciting, cause you can just talk with him while doing the dishes, cleaning, and even when you are studying and you´re frustrated!:-)

Walking with God makes you hunger more after Him... Like John Bevere says "What you feed on is what you hunger for". We need more of God everyday!!! And the good news is that there is ALWAYS more of Him!!! :-) Even all of eternity we will get to know God more and more!!! How exciting!!! :-) So yes, God is so good!!! We are nothing without Him!!! He is like the air that we breath, He is the water that satisfy our soul! How can we do anything but praise Him? (That was actually a few parts from my latest songs...:-) ) Well, anyways, I didn't mean to preach, but there you go...:-) Keep on seeking God´s face, cause when you seek Him, then all the rest will also fall into place!!! Praise God

The last three weeks...

Well, I decided to take a break in my studies and actually try to sum up these last three weeks or so in a short update. Cause there has been alot of other things happening besides school and studies, if you thought otherwise...:-) This update comes in a "picture update form"...It´s nicer anyhow to see pics and not just read one mile of text!;-)

So lets start from this last week and go back in time...

This week a team of ten people from England has been here in Estonia... They ministered to us throughout the week. God blessed me so much through them! It´s been a great week!

Two weeks ago my dear sister and cousin, Hanna and Catrin, came to visit me! We had a great time although I had to take some time to study in between our program...:-) We walked alot around the city, went shopping, went to my church to the youth evening, went out to eat, etc. It was such a blessing having them here! Then three weeks ago was a little bitter sweet, as we had Sigurd´s going away party. He has been here in Estonia for the past two years working as a missionary, and now he went back to Norway. That Sunday my apartment was filled with people as we "celebrated" Sigurd. Here you can see some pics from that evening...

I just have to do a little add here...I have seriously been so blessed by the song "solution" from the new Hillsong United...well there are so many good songs,,"Hosanna" is just so amazing too I just LOVE it!! but this song "solution" is one of those songs that just stirs you up and fill you with energy! The lyrics are just so powerful as well... anyways, if you haven´t heard it yet, go check it out! It gets you fired up! I have been listening to it in between my studying, and it really gets you going again when you feel drained from the studies...:-)
well listen to the songs and you know what I mean! More updates later...I have to keep on studying now...had my first exam today, tomorrow I will have a parasite test and then two more big exams, and summer here I come!!!:-)

Saturday I woke up to a beautiful day and went out for a nice jog in the morning! It was so nice and refreshing! Then I spent most of the rest of the day studying...On Saturday evening Anette came and spent the night here. We had a girls evening watching "Pride and Prejudice" and had some beauty treatment...Nice, nice...:-)

Sunday was really amazing! In the meeting at church that morning pastor Markus was preaching. It was so good! He started his preaching with a good quote... "There are two kinds of Christians, one group is the ones who say "God, let your will be done" and to the other group God says "Ok, have your way". That was freely translated (as the preaching is in Estonian). But anyways, I thought it was really good and I pray that I´d be in the first group! That God´s will would be done in and through my life! But yes, so he was preaching about how we are the branches, Jesus the tree and God the Gardner. Our lives should bear fruit and we need to ask God, what kind of fruit am I bearing? And we need to always be open to God to do a work in our lives, to be pruned and really ask God, what is standing in the way for us to be everything He has created us to be. The Bible says that "you will know them by the fruit". Sometimes the fruit can look good on the outside, but if you taste it it can be sour and bitter! There are different seasons to bear fruit, and it is not our job to go around judging our fellow Christians.."oh, where is your fruit?" no, but it is between us and God to ask what kind of fruit we are bearing. Some people might be in a winter season, others in spring, and so on... We all go through different seasons, but we are all called to bear fruit, fruit that will last! :-) And then he was preaching about how we have been cut into God´s family, and that we are no longer a part of the old tree, the old nature. And that is also the prize we have to pay; we are dead to our old self and alive in Christ! :-) And that is also when we see who we are in Christ, the position we have in Him. But at the same time we know that we need to abide in Christ, because we are nothing without Him! We are apart of that tree and the life of Christ is flowing in and through us! :-) And then he was talking about how to cut away the things that are hindering us from bearing fruit and moving forward with God. And he was saying how fear is such a big stronghold and that we give away our ground little by little to the devil by being fearful. We need to see is there any area in my life that is in fear? We need to respond with faith and stand our ground not letting the devil steal it from us! And when we know who we are in Christ and what we have in him, we can boldly hold on to those promises and stand against the devil! It was just such a good message and he used wonderful illustrations! God spoke so much to me through that message! Powerful!

After church Anette, Helina, Ketlin and I went to eat lunch at La Dolce Vita. After that Ketlin went home, and the three of us went on to Kristiina´s place to see her new sweet puppy, Emmi! She is sooo adorable!!! (You know me and dogs!:-D) Here is also some pics!:-)

From there Anette and I went on to help out Julia to prepare her birthday party. It was a garden party, the first this year! And it was just such a beautiful weather!!! There was some food and grilling, games, worship, music, and I played football and volleyball with the kids, which was just sooo lovely!!!:-) Such a nice and relaxing time to celebrate our dear, dear wonderful woman of God, Julia!!! So Happy Birthday one more time Julia!!! :-)

Youth meeting...

Today was youth meeting...there were less people than usual, because there was also "Going Up" that Risttee church is organizing, so quite many youth were there as well... But we had a great evening with pastor Algis preaching from Nelipühi Kirik, and it was really good! He preached about relationships...He was asking what is it in our lives that makes life good and worth living...and in conclusion we could agree that relationships is very important. If our relationships are good then we are also good, but if we have bad relationships then life is not so good...and this goes for both our friendships and our relationship with God. But the preaching was good, because he drew the parallel between our relationships to others and to God. He was saying how the one thing that is the mostly important firstly as being a disciple of Jesus is to be with him, to spend time with him. Out from that everything else flows... the power, the anointing, etc... And the same way in our relationships, we need to get to spend time and get to know each other well... and then he was saying how men and women are different, that men wants to "do things together" and women wants to "spend time together". And we need to learn how to do both in a marriage for example, but also with God. We will get tired if we just do and do and do things for or with God, but we need to take that quality time as well and just spend time with him. It was just a really good and practical message, with good advice for everyday life in relating to people and with God.:-)

The Blessing with Friends

This weekend has really reminded me of what a huge blessing it is with wonderful friends!!! It is just so amazing that you can both laugh and cry together and talk and share life with each other! It makes life so rich!
On Saturday we got together with Anette, Sigurd, Joona and Kristiina for lunch in the city. We ate at Taverna and had a really good time.

From there we went on to Joona´s place, everyone but Anette who had to go home to prepare for Sunday worship. We watched "Jesus Camp" and Joona made a good Finnish pancake, and it was so delicious! Then we spent, I don't know how many hours, talking and discussing. It was such a blessed time!!! Later in the evening we still tried to watch this documentary, but we were so tired then so we had to go home:-) Then it was already midnight...:-)

Today was another wonderful day with church in the morning and friends and fellowship in the afternoon. Ingvar Brandström from Sweden was preaching about the power of the cross and to live in freedom and not under the curse of the law. It was a really good message! And Anette was leading worship! Amazing!:-)
After church we headed for my place where we were gonna make lunch. We stopped in the city for a while to see some of the student days events, that´s going on now in Tartu. There were so many people in the city! Quite unique! From there we then went on to shop at Rimi and then we headed over to my place. It was Helina, Anette, Sigurd and Joona that came over. We made lasagna and some salad. :-) So nice with people over! I love it when people come over!:-) Again we enjoyed a nice time together with much laughter! :-) Student Days in Tartu.

I seriously want to say to you all my dear friends and relatives out there- You are such a blessing in my life!!! I thank God for you!!! :-) Thank you for being in my life, no matter if you´re far or near! (speaking about location:-D ) I love you!!!

Bible Days- Piiblipäevad in Jõgeva...

This weekend there was Bible Days, Piiblipäevad in Jõgeva. I was only there on Friday evening though, but it was really good! :-) Marju was so amazingly generous and drove Anette, Joona, Sigurd and me there. The worship was done by the youth team "Reunited" from our church, and the worship was amazing!!! Then we took time all together and joined hands and prayed for these crazy riots that have been going on in Tallinn now the last days, that God would really interfere and turn this thing around for good. That there would be a revival sweeping through this land! And there so is gonna be one soon! As this land is shaken I believe that God will move in the midst of that and draw people to himself!!!

Then Märt Saar from Risttee church was preaching about seeking God, and it was really good. Then later in the evening there was a concert with Septem and Crux, also really good!!!:-) It was a great evening, praise God!!!:-)

I got a nice surprise when my cousin Basse came to visit me when he was here in Tartu for a business trip... We had a really nice time together walking around in the city a bit, taking pictures. Then we walked to my place, so he could see where I live and later in the evening we went out to eat at La dolce vita. It was a really nice day!

Then later that evening Anette and Sigurd came over for a movie night and Anette spent the night at my place. Nice nice...:-)

Drama "Heaven´s gates and hell´s flames"

Oh, wow, what can I say, other than that God is so good and faithful! :-) This last week was massive! It was so good, but so packed as well! We had the drama "Heaven´s gates and hell´s flames" at church for four nights in a row-Saturday to Tuesday. There was rehearsal and preparation on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the first play. I was an angel in the drama on two of the nights, but Mon and Tue I had school til so late so I was not able to be there then. But it was so great cause many people were touched and came to Christ during this time.

It was a step of faith for me to be apart of the drama, cause I had alot of school stuff. I had to study for two tests that I had that Monday, but God is sooo faithful!!! It is amazing how when you put God´s kingdom first how all other things also fall into place! I was amazed when I looked back at the week and saw what all I managed to get done! I even had time for a relaxing movie night in between and to meet up with Friends from Finland for lunch, plus a packed school schedule and studies and drama!!! God is so amazing! :-) :-) :-) So here are some pics from the drama etc.

Another Wonderful Week(end)

Well, this week has been crazy with school and stuff, but God is good and faithful!!!:-) But now it´s time for some serious updates!

Last weekend was amazing when Tom Jensen was here from Norway. He had Ruben and Calle with him, and they preached and shared some at the youth meeting last Friday. It was a meeting where the Holy Spirit moved and people got prayed for.

That Saturday was the seminar with Tom, and it was amazing as usual! So good, inspiring and challenging teaching. He was preaching about having a strong vision, about choosing God´s best and not just the good. About who we let us get influences by -"the law of attachment". Of not trying to imitate people, but becoming everything God has created us for! That and many other good things! So yes-it was a blessing!

Sunday meeting was like a fire bomb!!! :-) It was seriously revival in the house!Tom was preaching about reaping and sowing. We are a product of the decisions/choices we make. It was a really good message, and the worship was so strong and the Holy Spirit was doing great things!How amazing is our God!!!:-) You can really sense that there will be a great harvest of souls coming in soon!! There is a fresh hunger for God and to pray and seek God for the city and nation! I am sooo excited! Praise God!!!

Wednesday evening I was invited to my old cell group, at Anette´s place and we had a blessed time together with fellowship, prayer and worship! Amazing to do life with wonderful sisters!:-)

Now this weekend and beginning of next week we are having the drama "Heavens ´s gates and hell´s flames", and I am believing for a great harvest! I will give more updates on that later on!

AMAZING EASTER!!!

I hope that you all had a great Easter! What an amazing thing that we can celebrate our Risen Lord and Saviour,that we can remember all the things Jesus had to go through for our sake. The depth of the salvation that Jesus paid for with His precious blood, is so marvellous! The love and forgiveness that is flowing down from the cross cannot be described in words! It all goes back to the cross, to the prefect lamb that was slain for our iniquities...

This Easter I spent here in Estonia. It has been an amazing weekend! Friday we had Youth meeting and it was so powerful! The presence of God was just so strong! Lise, Sigurd´s sister is here visiting, and she shared some things from her missions trip to India. Very inspiring! Sigurd was preaching about what Jesus did on the cross-and it was really powerful. The Worship was amazing and in the end we had communion together. An amazing way to spend Good Friday! Then after the youth meeting Lise and Sigurd came over to my place for pancakes, in the middle of the night, and we had a blessed time together! Talking about being healthy...:-)

Saturday evening 12 people gathered here at my place for prayer and then we went out in the streets sharing the gospel with people, talking to them. We were also handing out invitations for the next youth meeting and the drama that is coming up in a few weeks- "Heavens gates and hells flames". It was just sooo good to be out there talking to people! We had some really good conversations! People are hungry, but how can they know what they are hungry for if nobody tells them the good news? And how can they believe unless they hear the Word? I hope and believe that this is only the beginning and that we could make it a habit, being out there where the people are and getting used by God!!! He needs more workers, cause the harvest is big, but the workers few! After we had been out there talking to people we gathered at a cafe and got something warm to drink, since we were all freezing by that time! We had a great time there as well! Blessed with wonderful sisters and brothers! :-) After that Helina came to my place and spent the night here. It was so good having her over!:-)

Sunday, another wonderful meeting at church was awaiting us! Albert, who has been a pastor here, but now lives in Israel, was here preaching. It was a really good message where he talked about Jesus life and death and resurrection. And once again the worship was powerful and amazing! After the meeting the Christian school had a concert. It was really cute to see and hear the kids sing from their hearts!

In the evening, Helina, Lise, Sigurd and I went over to Joona´s place, where he had prepared an amazing Easter dinner, with dessert and everything. Kaia, a friend of Joona, was also there. We had a good time together with deep conversations. I guess we walked all through the Bible or something:-) Then before we were about to go, Joona just said that lets just pray together first. And we prayed and then we started praying for each other and we ended up having a full on prayer meeting in several hours! The Holy Spirit was touching people and we saw deliverance, Holy Spirit baptism and I was laughing for quite a while...it was just amazing!!! God is sooo good! I couldn´t have pictured a more blessed Easter dinner celebration! God is longing for us to draw closer and drink deep from the fountain! What a mighty God we serve!!! Hallelujah!

Yesterday,(Tuesday) I went over to Anette´s place. Lise, Anette and I spent some good time together and again we could just take some time and pray for each other. It is such a blessing with wonderful sisters! Lise then came over to my place and spent the night here. We had such a good time together! I was so blessed to have her stay over! And this morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast together, before she headed home to Norway.

So in other words an amazing Easter!!! :-) God is alive and doing great things all over the world! And how amazing that we can be apart of it!!! Be blessed!!!
